Interests

TRAVEL

In addition to playing linebacker for the Cincinnati Bengals, Dhani recently entered the travel and entertainment world with his hit television show “Dhani Tackles the Globe” on the Travel Channel. The series allowed Jones to combine his passion for sports and travel by embarking on a journey to discover how traditional sports help define cultures. In each episode, Dhani tried his hand at a new sport: Rugby in England, Muay Thai in Thailand, Hurling in Ireland, Dragon Boat Racing in Singapore, Schwingen in Switzerland, Pelota in Spain, Sailing in New Zealand, Surf Lifeguard Competition in Australia, Sambo in Russia and Pradal Serey in Cambodia.

Beyond learning new skills, Dhani uses his experiences to better understand these foreign cultures. As you watch each episode, it becomes apparent that sports not only help define cultures, but also provide individuals with a common ground to communicate and understand one another.

Travel Channel Media is an integrated travel media business, and is wholly owned by Scripps Networks Interactive (NYSE:SNI)
